Literature Text
Silver bells and shining moon,
The wolf howls its dirge.
Silence wraps around the world,
With fingers of bone and steel.
The chorus of the wood,
Silenced by thunder,
Pierced by a poisoned marble.
A monster roars in triumph,
Teeth tearing at wood,
An oak’s cry of defeat.
Its rider bellows in sadistic euphoria,
Urging others to the hunt.
The monsters ate to their heart’s content,
And heard not the silent screams.
